The Island Pacific School Academic Interview takes approximately 1 hour. It is an opportunity for our Learning Strategies Specialist, Amanda Szabo, to sit down with your child to discuss their academics and identify any areas of additional support or additional challenges that your child may benefit from next year.
The completed Application Form, inclusive of the Application Fee and uploaded supporting documents, must be received by the school before the assessment can occur.
If your child has an IEP and/or Psych Ed Assessment, please ensure a copy of this document is uploaded in your Application Form prior to the Academic Interview date, as per the Application Form request.
Amanda is active in the classroom and so her schedule is limited. If you are truly unable to make any of the current available dates work with your schedule, please contact Jessica directly to arrange an alternate date.

If you are traveling to Bowen with BC Ferries, please check the current sailing schedule. Please note that the ticket sales cut off is 10 minutes prior to the sailing departing Horseshoe Bay.
Thank you for continuing the admission process to Island Pacific School. The Academic Interview is your final step! In January, the Admissions Committee will review all applications that were completed by December 17th and prepare Offers of Enrolment to eligible families in February, 2027.
